Govt has not invoked section 7 of the RBI act: Finance ministry

New Delhi: After a lot of speculations that the government may invoke Section 7 of the RBI Act, a statement has been issued on Wednesday from the finance ministry which states that the "consultations on several issues take place between the Government and the RBI from time to time" towards the welfare of the country. It has suggested that the government has not invoked section 7 of the RBI act.
