Younger generation does not want to practice farming because of drudgery: Expert

New Delhi: Expressing concerns that there is only 48 percent of the irrigated land in the country, a noted agricultural expert on Saturday said that what makes the matters worse is the fact that educated people tend to stay away from farming mainly due to drudgery involved and the issues related to produce.
