Interim Budget 2019: Is it going to be farmer friendly ?

New Delhi/Hyderabad: Having pronounced its aim to double the farmer’s income by the year 2022, will the Modi government introduce a pro-farmer budget on February 1? In place of the various kinds of incentives and concessions to farmers, will the government propose direct transfer of funds to farmers? Will the government make promises like income to farmers and interest-free farm loans?
