All you need to know about ‘Rs 10 lakh’ basic health insurance cover

Mumbai: The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), on February 19, 2019 issued draft guidelines on the proposed Standard Health Product. While giving reasons for bringing in new personal health insurance cover IRDAI said at times the prospective customers may have no option, but to choose a product which has embedded certain other covers whether or not such covers are needed.
