New Delhi: The government has detected Goods and Services Tax evasion of around Rs 20,000 crore in April 2018 to Feb 2019 period, said Mr John Joseph, Member (Budget & Investigations) at Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CITC), at a National Conference on GST 2.0 – Recent Development and Way Forward, organised by an apex industry body ASSOCHAM, in New Delhi today.
